I adore this necklace - it is imbued with an inner drama that every diva will love!
A gorgeous grey/brown lace is embellished with handsewn sequins in purple/pink then handsewn to an Ultrasuede backing in a grey/brown tone. I then sewed Swarovski crystals and pearls in pink, purple and grey, along with silver Czech crystals, powder pink aluminium flowers, and sparkling Swarovski crystal buttons.
The focal point is a gorgeous deep pink/purple encrusted brooch, repurposed and sewn onto the backing to provide the ideal accompaniement to the gorgeous lace.
A matching Ultraseude backing was then applied, and the edges embellished with Delica seed beads in purple and grey. I then attached tiny glass droplets to the embellished outer edge.
Closure is by way of matching pink/purple chiffon ribbon - double layered for impact, and sandwiched between the Ultrasuede layers so it's nice and tidy. This allows you to alter the length of the necklace from choker length to a more demure length, according to your neckline.
