"Dramatique Rouges" (French) = "Ruby Drama" :-)
This beautiful, dramatic pendant uses a vintage Czech glass button that I have removed the shank from and then attached to a backing. I then surrounded it by hand with gold Delica seed beads to encase and showcase it, sewing 4mm garnet round beads around it's perimeter. The glass button itself is a deep ruby red, inset with clear and pink crystals and embellished with gold - absolutely gorgeous! The whole ensemble was then backed with deep red Ultrasuede fabric, then the edges further embellished.
I attached further garnets, deep red faceted Czech crystals, a pink freshwater pearl and pale gold, pink and clear Swarovski crystals, with white freshwater pearls.
The 1cm wide deep red ribbon is threaded through the back of the pendant to allow it to sit unhindered around your neck. I will finish the length to the new owner's specific requirements, but would recommend that it sits better when higher on the neck, rather than lower.
