I had a bunch of green freshwater pearls and some green faceted crystal donuts left over from making a previous piece, and I guess I just wasn't done yet with the greens ;-)
I made a wire base with heavy guage wire, and then proceeded to wire clusters of pearls and crystals alternately, with added interest in the way of two gorgeous Turquoise ovals and a central square Chrysocolla bead, with wire accents. It didn't look quite finished, so I proceeded to add baby pink freshwater pearls and blue and green Swarovski 4mm crystals to "fill it up"...nope, still not quite done. Next came very thin wire, threaded with purple seed beads to add a bit of interest, wound around the existing beads.
Finally, I added an antique bronze toggle clasp.
All wire used was non-tarnish antique bronze artistic wire. Can be lengthened slightly if required, but not shortened, unfortunately.
