This gorgeous polymer clay cabachon was made by talented NZ clay artiste Paula Thompson - I just adore Paula's work! This one has a black base, with antique gold accents.
I created a non-tarnish wire base, then used very fine wire to create a netting effect around the cabachon, trapping the two together. I added embellishment by using faceted black Czech crystals to wire around the frame and the bail, the bottom one being larger than the others to add balance. I then attached an antiqued floral bead cap and a flat-back Swarovski crystal to add further bling. The chain is antique gold-look with a lobster clasp.
Pendant size: width 4cm (just over 1 1/2in) x length 6cm (2 1/2in) including bail.
Chain length: 44cm (17in) but clasp can be attached anywhere along the length of chain for the perfect fit (happy to lengthen also, free of charge, up to a further 10cm).
