This beautiful neckpiece is a luxury accessory :) I began with a chocolate brown velvet applique, then added a velvet rose, embellished the piece with gold and bronze seed beads and Swarovski pearls and crystals in Almond, Silk and Light Colorado Topaz. I attached wide (3cm - just over 1inch) matching chocolate brown satin ribbon and covered the back with 100% wool felt in a matching chocolate brown. I then embellished the edges with more bronze seed beads and added a gorgeous vintage-look gold and cream cameo piece, encrusted with topaz crystals.
The neckpiece ties up at the back so is fully adjustable and very easy to do.
Incredibly comfortable to wear and gorgeous to behold, this piece is very special, it took over 15 hours to create and was a joy from start to finish :-)
Measurements:
Embroidered piece measures 19cm (7 1/2in) from it's widest points, and 12cm (4 1/2in) from top to bottom of cameo dangle.
