A gorgeous, hand-embroidered necklace, using a paua (abalone) cabachon focal, Swarovski crystals and pearls in purple, green and blue and cream "oat" glass pearls. I used peacock (blue/black/purple), teal and silver seed beads to embellish this piece, and backed it in 100% wool felt for comfort. The edges have also been embellished with seed beads to frame the entire piece.
All metal used is sterling silver, and there is a sterling silver hook/eye clasp closure. Amazonite flat nuggets and white Swarovski pearls make up the rest of the chain.
The focal droplet is a faceted Amazonite briolette.
Length of necklace (end to end) is 45cm (17 1/2in). The length of the drop (from the centre of the embroidered piece to the bottom of the Amazonite drop) is 7.5cm (just under 3in).
