This gorgeous wired pendant is the result of the June 2009 "Year of Jewellery" theme: "Square".
I created a square frame by hammering non-tarnish antique bronze artistic wire, then coiled around the framework using more anti-tarnish wire, encompassing a hand-coiled "vine" as well as orange, golden yellow and olive green teardrops of faceted Cubic Zirconia and a mint green freshwater pearl. The black faceted teardrop of Cubic Zirconia adds a further feminine dimension.
The chain is made from more matching Swarovski crystals in complementing colours and the chain is brass, with a lobster clasp and extension chain.
Size of pendant (from top of frame to bottom of dangling CZ) is 5.5cm x 3.5cm (2 1/4in x 1 1/2in).
Length of chain is 48cm (19in) plus an additional 5cm (2in).
