This order is for a clients friend's 50th birthday. I was given a copper halfpenny coin with the friend's birth year on it, to clean up and incorporate into an item of jewellery. I cleaned it and drilled it, and added peach freshwater pearls (the Gemini birthstone), a green Swarovski crystal (the friend wears alot of earthy, autumnal colours) and antique copper chain to finish the piece off. I also hand-hammered and stamped the disc that dangles from the extension chain with the friend's initial, "R".
I hope she liked it!
