Beata Madre - "Blessed Mother" (Italian)
This beautiful bracelet has been hand-embroidered over many hours, to create this lovely vintage-looking piece.
I have used glass lustre coated beads and faceted Mother of Pearl beads in this bracelet, hand-embroidering tiny glass seed beads around them to create this look. The reverse side of each interlinking piece has been covered with acrylic felt so that it's very comfortable and soft against your skin.
A silver-plated religious image in vivid green and teal is attached to the focal bead, giving it the air of an antique or family heirloom piece. There is a silver button closure (very easy to fasten), which adds to the charm. The bronze, gold, cream and purple colourway is so striking.
The centrepiece measures 4cm x 3cm (1 1/2in x 1 1/16") to give you an idea of scale.
The entire bracelet measures 22cm (8 1/2in) in length. It is ONE OF A KIND and will be beautifully gift-wrapped prior to sending.
