This necklace was created for N's sister, who turns 60 next month. N provided me with a NZ ha'penny coin, minted in the year of her sister's birth (1949). I polished it up drilled it and attached it to an antique copper chain with toggle clasp. As Turquoise is N's sister's birthstone, we decided to add a lovely polished Turquoise nugget into the mix : )
