This beautiful bag is the result of hours of work and I just couldn't be happier with the result - gorgeous!
I started with an upcycled woollen sweater/jersey, which I felted (or more acurately, "fulled") myself. Then I cut it up and made this gorgeous bag, which I lined with beautiful green and cerise pink floral fabric, used pale baby blue piping around the top flap and then spent hours decorating the flap with 100% wool. Once the design was finalised, I then hand-sewed tiny glass seed beads and rhinestones (rose montee's) all through the design. The handle is bamboo and the snap is magnetic for ease of use.
The flower brooch with handmade central button is actually removeable, so you can take it off if you wish, and use it to embellish other bags, as a brooch or just attach to the lapel of your jacket or coat for abit of extra bling!
Gorgeous cerise pink, lime green, pale purple, cream and baby blue colours make it a bag to be noticed!
As with all my bags, this pattern was handmade by me (I never use bought patterns!). It's ONE OF A KIND and will be beautifully gift-wrapped prior to sending.
