Has someone you loved been touched by breast cancer? A friend or loved one perhaps? This bracelet is an ode to all of those women who have fought (whether they have survived or lost the fight) against breast cancer (like my mother and grandmother).
I started off by using the pink ribbon as my base - literally. I chose a pale pink grosgrain ribbon and wove it through a chunky silver chain. Then I continued with the woven theme by using non-tarnish silver artistic wire in a very thin guage to entwine baby pink, dusky pink and white Swarovski pearls and clear sparkling Czech crystals through that very same chain, adding strength to the whole design.
I attached a baby pink organza ribbon (tied into a bow) at one end of the bracelet, near the clasp (which is a pretty toggle clasp). Then I added a cluster of charms to the centre of the bracelet - a beautiful pink crystal-encrusted Pink Ribbon charm, another pretty baby pink Swarovski pearl and a sparkling Swarovski crystal, signifying beauty and hope.
This bracelet measures 19cm/7 1/2" but I will gladly alter for you, free of charge, if you let me know at checkout what length you need.
