"Preziosa Chiave" = "Precious Key" in Italian.
This is a genuine vintage key - it shows the patina of real age. Who knows what it has seen? It belongs to an antique desk I used to own, that I purchased some years ago. I have used very thin wire in a similar colour to attach some sparkling purple and mauve Czech crystals and one solitary cream pearl.
I have looped through a deep wine coloured cord and it closes with a lobster/parrot clasp.
This very funky necklace can be worn several ways just by unlooping the cord and re-threading it. You can wear it long, or double it around your neck and wear it as a choker.
Length of cord is 82cm/32".
Length of key is 5cm/2".
Looks great over a t-shirt or shirt, and also looks great with a layered look, worn with other necklaces or layers of clothing. Have fun with this and explore the vintage look at the same time :)
