Sue provided me with a challenge here. These gold nuggets were mined in New Guinea and were gifted to her. They were just so original and unique - but she didn't wear them, as she was a silver girl. Could I perhaps do something with them to make them more "her"?
As we were dealing in precious metals, I found some beautiful decorative sterling silver beads and added them to sparkling crystals, using sterling silver wire. I then handmade the sterling silver earhooks, capturing little gold vermeil faceted beads on the shanks, to tie in with the gold nuggets.
Hopefully they will now work better for you : )
