This bracelet features that most beautiful of ocean bounties, paua (also known as Abalone), this time in the form of 10 pretty square paua resined pieces plus one large rectangle piece (framed by gold-lined glass seed beads). Around them I have wired many crystals, pearls and metallic beads for impact. This bracelet has as it's base a gorgeous antique brass cuff, which I have lined with black felt to make it super-comfortable to wear. The metres of wire used to make this cuff is non-tarnish brass artistic wire and each bead was wired to the base individually over many hours. I have also surrounded the top and bottom of the cuff with tiny green glass seed beads, as a "border" for the design.
The green, blue and purple colours in this bracelet make it one of those pieces that makes a huge impact! Ideal if you love paua, the colours in particular, or as a gift for a friend or loved one away from New Zealand. Also great as a souvenir of our lovely country :)
The cuff is totally adjustable but would ideally fit a wrist measuring 6 1/4" - 8" (being 16cm - 20cm).
The cuff measures 2.8cm wide (just under 1 1/4").
