Beautiful, sparkling Labradorite (semi-precious gemstone) faceted ovals are the main attraction in this pin.
Labradorite is one of those very difficult gemstones to photograph as it's mainly dark grey but has a very alluring (and elusive) cloudy blue flash on it's surface. To pick this up, I've capped these particular pieces of Labradorite with Opalite (manmade Moonstone) in all it's cloudy glory.
Just beautiful, this kilt pin is 100% gemstones. I've used antique-look silver end caps and spacers and non tarnish silver wire (the whole pin is made completely from scratch!).
These kilt-style pins look fantastic with this season's wrap cardies, shawls, scarves or anything with a medium to heavy weave wool. The ends have been filed blunt so as not to damage your clothing.
