A slightly Egyptian-looking pendant, featuring a handmade polymer clay focal piece by Paula Thompson, in a deep blue and gold colourway. I have beaded around the focal using antique gold Delica beads, then surrounded it with antique gold Swarovski pearls. Then it was backed with Ultrasuede and the edges embellished in two shades of gold Delica beads.
I then beaded around a gold crystal Swarovski rivolli in matching beads, then attached it to the polymer clay and pearl focal. I used matching Swarovski pearls and crystals to add interest to the focal, before weaving a seed bead bail and attaching it to a deep blue velvet ribbon (which will be altered to the new owners required length once purchased, by adding a clasp to the back).
*Please note: the velvet ribbon is a matching deep blue, not the purple it looks in this photo...the camera refused to co-operate. BUT the blue ribbon matches the blue within the focal piece*
Pendant size: 8cm (3in) in length, by 3.5cm (1 3/4in) at its widest point.
