When I first laid eyes on these oval, faceted glass stones, I knew that keeping the design simple would be the key. They are so pretty and such a gorgeous colour, they really didn't need much else. Believe me, I tried them with all different kinds of accompaniements, but they didn't look quite right unless they were all together, with minimal embellishment.
So, in that vein, I kept it very simple and created a peyote bezel around each piece with Delica seed beads in blue and silver, attaching two faceted sparkling Czech crystals between each piece to separate them. The clasp is a very decorative and highly gorgeous sterling silver slide clasp.
This bracelet is entirely handstitched by me, using Fireline thread. It is light to wear and very comfortable on the wrist. And that colour...gorgeous :-)
The name comes from a time spent in Sorrento, Italy several years ago. The colour of the sea down there was pure indulgence - just like this bracelet.
